Cocktail Party!

So...I decided to have a cocktail party. We told everyone at work about it and a few friends outside of work about it thinking it would be a fun get together where all of us could dress up all nice and drink nice cocktails. Turns out that a lot more people were pretty excited about it than expected. There were probably about 55 to 65 people in my tiny little two bedroom, one bath house. But it was amazing. Even Michael and his new girlfriend came! Every single person that I talk to about it said that it was the most fabulous party they had been to in a really long time. We made a bunch of snacks for everyone to snack on. Bryon (who also bartended) bought 300 dollars worth of liquor and mixers and did a great job making drinks for everyone that night. I wish there were more pictures of everyone. Unfortunately, most of the people in these pictures are camera hogs :) But here they are... ...some people who didn't know how to control their alcohol got pretty wasted Some even had to be carried out But there are always those of us who survive. We were so proud that we survived that we took a picture. (I only had one drink mom) After everyone called their friends or cabs to go home. My house looked pretty sad. It took a lot of cleaning. It really did end up being a great night though. When good friends who always see each other lookin thier worse come together looking their best, it amazes us all.
